Hawke Sauce is crafted with passion, beginning with the peppers grown in our own garden. Each year, we carefully select about 60 varieties, blending the most flavorful peppers we know, such as Ají charapita and limón from Perú, ají carupanero from Venezuela, ghost peppers, chocolate reapers, scotch bonnets, jalapeños, habaneros, and fresnos. The peppers are harvested at their peak ripeness, then smoked over locally sourced oak to add a rich depth of flavor. After smoking, the peppers are mashed and aged for two weeks, allowing the flavor to fully develop before being cooked and blended with vinegar, truffle oil, and spices.
The result is a thick, spicy, and smoky sauce with complex umami and tangy notes that’s unlike anything you’ve tried before. Our sauce is made with a commitment to quality, and while other hot sauces might be more affordable, we refuse to dilute our product with excessive vinegar or compromise on our ingredients.
